This week鈥檚 creative space is full of baskets.

A new work-in-progress basket a Christmas gift from my mother-in-law. It鈥檚 the type used by scrapbookers and it鈥檚 got lots of little pockets and dividers for storing things. Most of the things I make don鈥檛 require a carrier that large except I鈥檝e found it鈥檚 perfect for storing multiple projects that are unfinished current or future. It鈥檚 easy to keep all of a project鈥檚 pieces together and segregate from others so that I can grab it quickly and pick up where I left off.

A yarn basket. This one has been collecting leftover bits of yarn in varying amounts and it鈥檚 getting a little hard to keep them all stacked in there. I recently discovered a tutorial for winding butterfly bobbins and have decided to convert to them in the hopes that they will be a little more stackable.

A basket full of goodness collected for the shop. This is where I keep my stock once it鈥檚 finished and waiting for new homes (along with a few Valentine鈥檚 surprises for the kids). I enjoy seeing the basket empty out of course except I do love to see it all filled up with pretty things!

As for actual projects I鈥檓 putting things on hold for a little while so that I can complete some other more practical tasks that I鈥檝e been putting off. The shop has plenty of stock in it at the moment so instead of working on an update for next week I鈥檒l be organizing rearranging cleaning fixing鈥? Crazy person that I am I will probably enjoy all of that just love much like the creative stuff!
